So, yes our flight was about 24 hours long - 2 layovers..... One in LA and the other in Aukland New Zealand. I have to tell you, comparing Air Canada to Air New Zealand is like comparing a Dodge Neon to a Bentley. Air New Zealand's 13 hour flight was probably the best of the 3 flights we had. Complete with a served braised beef dinner, choices of new release movies, tv shows, games, comfortable seating (with super cool lighting), and to top everything off, a wake up drink and breakfast before ending the flight. (Boeing 777-300ER is the plane if you wanna take a look!) Here's some photos we took along the way.
